EHS Ice Sessions Policy

Why is our policy strict?

Elite training requires elite commitment. Ice time costs money. Rosters are set. Commitments are final.

When you book, ice is reserved (non-refundable to rink minimum 10 days before session), your spot is locked in, other players are counting on a full roster, and training is planned for a specific group size (10-15 players).

Bottom line: This is real hockey. You commit, you show up.

  • Payment & Booking

    Payment: E-transfer to coachdan@elitehockeyskills.com

Deadline: Within 48 hours of booking or spot released

Memo: Include your booking code (e.g., "EHS-2051")

    Once paid = locked in.

  • You Don't Show UpYou forfeit your payment. No refund.
  • You Cancel, Session Still Has 10+ Paid PlayersSession cost credit (30 days) - courtesy, not requirement. Why? I'm not losing money (still have 10+) and I value our relationship. This is a courtesy, not a guarantee.
  • You Cancel, Drops Below 10 Paid PlayersFind replacement OR forfeit payment. Why? I need 10 minimum to run training. You're putting that at risk.
  • Can't Find ReplacementYou forfeit payment. Session may run with 9 or be cancelled.
  • I Cancel (Injury/Rink Cancels)Everyone gets full refund within 48 hours.

If You Can't Make It - Find Your Own Replacement

  • • Contact someone from the group or same hockey level
  • • They pay you directly
  • • Email me with their info: coachdan@elitehockeyskills.com
  • • I update the roster

Or accept the forfeit. You don't show = you lose your payment. That's hockey.

10 Player Minimum - Why?
  • • Optimal training environment (not too crowded, not too empty)
  • • Fair cost distribution
  • • Quality ice coverage and drill execution

What if we don't hit minimum 10 players?

  • Greater than 10 days before: I may ask remaining players to pay extra to keep session alive
  • Group decides: Majority vote determines if session runs
  • If cancelled: Everyone gets full refund
Key Dates

48 Hours After Booking: Payment required or spot released to waitlist

10 Days Before Session: Ice locked in with rink (non-refundable). Cancellations = find replacement or forfeit

Day of Session: Don't show = forfeit. No exceptions

Bottom Line

Elite training requires elite commitment. You know the deal:

  • • Pay = locked in
  • • Don't show = your loss, not mine
  • • Find your own replacement if needed
  • • No hand-holding, no excuses

This is how real hockey works. 🏒🏒
