The On-Ice Progression (What Your Player Will Learn)▾
- •Our Fundamental Approach: The exposure of technique weaknesses, rebuilding them with proper balanced techniques strategically built upon hourly and daily progressions.
- •Power Skating: Executed with pucks.
- •Puck Skills: Stickhandling, passing, shooting, puck control, puck protection, and balanced movements.
- •Elite Drills: Real counter-reactive movement drills with creativity and agility baked in.
- •Compete: Heavy compete in small area games (1v1, 2v2, 3v3) and understanding 'how' to play without the puck.
- •Hockey IQ: In-depth conversations on all aspects of these drills, how they build on each other, and when, where, and how we apply them in real game situations.
Training Overview & Player Requirements▾
- •Elite Training: 12 Hours of on-ice Elite Hockey Skills Training (3 hours daily) in a fun and supportive environment.
- •Player/Coach Ratio: We strive for a 4:1 ratio with highly skilled leaders dedicated to real-time coaching and corrections.
- •Required Levels: U8-U12 Rep-AAA; U13-U16 LL-AAA. Note: U8 A-AAA is a guideline to ensure players can handle the ice time. If your player is U7 but plays A or above, or if they are a younger LL player who meets our *Skating Exception, they are welcome!
- •The EHS Standard ('Rep Caliber'): This means your child is striving hard to become a better player, loves to learn the game, and can handle intense on-ice training skill drills with corrections.
- •Grouping: Players will be divided into similar skilled and age groupings (Groupings can change during week).
- *The Skating Exception: We happily welcome any player who is highly proficient at forward and backward skating, tight turns, pivots, mohawks, and crossovers. If your child has mastered these fundamentals, they qualify! Text Coach Dan at 705-607-1299 to discuss.
